The Organization for Integrated Development (OID) is a Pakistani indigenous nonprofit, non-governmental, non-religious, and non-political charity dedicated to humanitarian and development work. Founded in March 2013 as Hurrmat-E-Niswa Welfare Society Organization (HNWS) by a group of volunteer professionals, it was officially registered with the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Baluchistan under registration # R.A. 1591 (2018) and with the Charities and Registration Authority (BCRA) under registration number BL-5611550904554375 in April 2023.
Initially focusing on empowering the poorest communities in Baluchistan, especially women, OID broadened its scope and changed its name to the Organization for Integrated Development (OID) to reflect its expanded mission to serve all segments of society. OID collaborates with civil society organizations, the private sector, and governmental institutions, emphasizing transgender development, capacity development, income generation, poverty eradication, health, addressing violence against women, agriculture, gender issues, emergency relief programs, social psycho support, and environmental degradation.
OID is driven by a commitment to fostering sustainable development and improving the quality of life for all. Our initiatives are rooted in a deep understanding of local contexts and are designed to be inclusive, participatory, and empowering. We strive to mobilize local resources and promote gender equality, environmental stewardship, and resilience against socio-economic challenges.
Our work extends to the most marginalized groups, including women, children, and the transgender community, ensuring they have access to opportunities for growth and self-reliance. By implementing comprehensive community empowerment initiatives, OID aims to create a more equitable and just society.
Through strategic partnerships with local and international organizations, OID leverages collective strengths to maximize impact and sustainability. Our programs are designed with a robust monitoring and evaluation framework to ensure accountability, continuous improvement, and the achievement of tangible outcomes.
OID’s team comprises dedicated professionals with expertise in various fields, ensuring that our programs are effective, innovative, and aligned with our mission. We are committed to transparency and integrity in all our operations, maintaining the trust and support of our beneficiaries, partners, and donors.
By addressing the root causes of poverty and inequality, OID is working towards a vision of a prosperous Baluchistan where every individual has access to opportunities for sustainable development and a dignified quality of life.
