- OID’s technical and managerial staff have rapidly acquired invaluable experience through the initial implementation of diverse projects, laying a robust foundation for forthcoming initiatives:
- Transgender Development: OID is committed to advancing the development and inclusion of the transgender community in Baluchistan. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by this marginalized group, by fostering collaboration with local organizations and stakeholders, OID endeavors to ensure that the transgender community is supported and empowered to lead dignified and fulfilling lives.
- Education (Formal and Informal): Advancing educational opportunities across Baluchistan, encompassing formal schooling and innovative informal education initiatives to enhance literacy rates and foster lifelong learning.
- Agriculture and LIVESTOCK: Boosting agricultural productivity, promoting sustainable practices, and improving livestock management techniques.
- WASH (Water, Sanitation, and HYGIENE): Improving public health through enhanced access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and hygiene education to mitigate waterborne diseases and improve overall community well-being.
- Livelihood and Income Generation: Facilitating skills development and fostering economic independence through targeted livelihood and income generation initiatives.
- Emergency Preparedness and Responses: Proactive emergency preparedness and swift responses during crises, ensuring communities are resilient and equipped to manage disasters effectively.
- Disaster Risk Reduction: Implementing strategies to reduce disaster risks, safeguard lives, and protect infrastructure, enhancing community resilience against natural disasters.
- Capacity Building: Strengthening local capacities at grassroots levels through tailored training and capacity-building initiatives.
